Since 1982 Paul Davis has produced and hosted The Music of Ireland every week for broadcast in his home market of Cape Breton and north-east Nova Scotia. Paul’s infectious enthusiasm and deep knowledge of traditional and contemporary Irish music and musicians has earned a loyal and steadily growing listener base over these many years.

Now, Paul is delighted to make this program available to radio stations everywhere, with guaranteed exclusivity in each local market. Broadcast rights for the show can be purchased in renewable subscriptions, delivered each week for broadcast that week. For each subscribing radio station, Paul will provide the weekly programs with commercial breaks at intervals to suit individual requirements, and will incorporate customized station identification and local announcements if desired.

The Music of Ireland program is chock full of carefully-selected traditional and contemporary Irish music recordings by the best known, and in some cases yet-to-be discovered bands, instrumentalists and singers from around the world. An accomplished whistle and bodhran player himself, Paul’s familiarity with the Irish music scene, his witty and insightful commentaries, and his many years of experience as a concert emcee and radio show host contribute in a big way to the consistently high quality of this program.

 The current week’s show will be distributed as an MP3 file via Internet delivery each Sunday. Each subscribing broadcaster is guaranteed exclusivity in their home market area.

For each radio station subscriber, Paul will customize the weekly program to allow for commercial breaks as required, and will include a personalized station identification message in his voice at the introduction and close of each program – or to suit your station’s requirements.
